Why does your perspective take Precedence over mine? What makes my killing wrong, But yours right? What makes your deeds good? Why does evil define mine? I only wanted to stop the killing I only wanted to save my kind You forced my hand to call for war I will return, i will not be kind. You are not a being of empathy A disease you are, parasite You are unrepentant, humankind The perspective of evil is sometimes Undefined What good are your deeds at a cost Of another life? The perspective of evil is sometimes Undefined There are shades of gray, in a world That's black and white We did not mean to be here We did not have a choice You did not let us leave Captured. Tortured. Confined If i extract my pound of flesh Am i not just like you? If i spill blood for my revenge Am i not just like you? Will this conflict ever resolve? Will this conflict ever have no Resolution? And i failed the world, I let the dark in me This is where evil breeds unveiling What you can't see Everything that you believe is lost To the dark Trace the darkness of your past Your man made cross and gods lost The violence you spread a testament Of your crimes You call me evil, you kill for god, I killed only to survive The perspective of evil you have defined Where you choose darkness, I choose the light The perspective of evil you have defined There are no shades of gray, Just a world that's black and white.
