The Last Reptilian Warrior
Sacrifice your gods for they are all but idols A crutch for your life and the false hope you hold When all of the world has failed you Every prayer to your god will have been in vain As life leaves your body and death consumes you And the blood dries in your veins Through the darkening skies A flash of blinding light The portal opens and they descend Upon a world in chaos, just waiting to burn A world in ruin, human infighting Torn by religion and books of hate Is this world really worth saving? Or is extinction the only certainty? We built our war machines, We built our weapons of mass destruction Our soldiers waged a war and died by the thousands We should have listened; we should have let them be The human mind is born with a clean slate Through the books of religion we are taught to hate World leaders divided and ruled us So when they came we were in disarray Like lambs heading to the slaughter They came from a place in the sky Through the passage of time and space They came from a place in the sky With a force to annihilate When will you wake up? This truth you cannot see When will you find out That God is in the machine They came from a place in the sky through the passage of time and space They came from a place in the sky with the force to annihilate When we found then we should have left them alone We were the ones, breeding the hate When the firing stops and silence takes over The war of the worlds has come to an end A field of corpses, a ground painted red. No heroes return, everyone is dead. When the darkness does come, there is no light to save When the darkness does come, no heaven, just a grave

Inject the venom under the skin Transform human into reptilian Scream loud. No one can hear Scream loud. Conditioned by fear Genetic mutation Reptilian experimentation Torture subjects to dementia None of this is human Creating new forms Grafting DNA Build the killing machine Sculpting the archetype As the blade cuts through the scales and the flesh It's alive and conscious while they run their tests You can see it in their eyes that they'll never forget There’s a price to be paid and the currency will be your death Experience torture Subjugated. Slaves Extraterrestrial beings Quarantined. Contained The skin peels off easy Withering in deaths grip Growing new skin What are these monsters we're breeding? The bodies lie cold But still alive and breathing The pulse it starts racing Creating untamed demons Metamorphosis Toxic cell growth Evolution has commenced Prepare to reap what you have sowed

Why does your perspective take Precedence over mine? What makes my killing wrong, But yours right? What makes your deeds good? Why does evil define mine? I only wanted to stop the killing I only wanted to save my kind You forced my hand to call for war I will return, i will not be kind. You are not a being of empathy A disease you are, parasite You are unrepentant, humankind The perspective of evil is sometimes Undefined What good are your deeds at a cost Of another life? The perspective of evil is sometimes Undefined There are shades of gray, in a world That's black and white We did not mean to be here We did not have a choice You did not let us leave Captured. Tortured. Confined If i extract my pound of flesh Am i not just like you? If i spill blood for my revenge Am i not just like you? Will this conflict ever resolve? Will this conflict ever have no Resolution? And i failed the world, I let the dark in me This is where evil breeds unveiling What you can't see Everything that you believe is lost To the dark Trace the darkness of your past Your man made cross and gods lost The violence you spread a testament Of your crimes You call me evil, you kill for god, I killed only to survive The perspective of evil you have defined Where you choose darkness, I choose the light The perspective of evil you have defined There are no shades of gray, Just a world that's black and white.

Born. We start to breed Feed. On the earth we feast Destroy. Everything will perish Repeat. Everything will bleed Consume. All in our sight Deplete. All that we see Erode. It is our right Defeat. For our beliefs A parasite upon the earth Like a cancer. Spreading. Eroding Drain the world of all it has The human stain is unending Human beings are a disease Like a cancer on this planet Using up every natural resource Draining the earth of everything Once it is decayed and no more They move on to destroy another part of the earth Leaving nothing We've failed. This world We've failed this world And there is no turning back Fear. Regret. Catastrophe Nothing stops the clock The ticking hands of time It was our wasteful ways That created our demise The rivers run dry The earth is fragmenting A certain doom impending The burning embers To ashes all withered Your house of god has turned to dust. No prayers were answered

Here I am, fighting a war I didn't start Here I am, killing for someone else's cause Is there really victory in war? When you look at all the blood that has been spilled The countless bodies, an ocean that covers the ground The broken dreams and lives of all of that have been killed No victory in war No victory in death I didn't start the war I only followed my orders Brainwashed to believe I fight to be free They fed us lies For your country you must die They fed us lies A hero a martyr you will die

The world is bleeding, war torn remains A shattered earth, festering flesh, the stench of decay An incessant war, all life is fleeting A broken hope, severed corpses, the sight of ruins The explosions are deafening Toxic fumes, its death I'm breathing. By the blade of my axe, the weak shall perish Nuclear war, radioactive fall out Breaking DNA, end all that is living In this war of the worlds, the weak shall perish In this war of the worlds, no one shall remain A war unending, nothing remains Alone I stand, last remaining reptilian warrior Severed at the throat Right through the jugular As my axe splits through the bone and tears through the flesh And as the blood spills everywhere, a crimson earth I lay bare A world distraught The end is here The world has burned and there is nothing left and the ground bleeds red If you had the choice, could you break the walls or do this all again? I have no answers The silence that deafens, an aftermath of war The pulsating, the breathing, searching for life that's gone A war unending, nothing remains Alone I stand, sole survivor Weak or Strong Human or Reptilian All did perish All did fail

He trudges on the road The path he walks alone Guardian of this empty place The heart of a warrior Dragging his heavy feet Every step he drags through sand Alone and cloaked in desolation Until the time he perishes Reminiscence, visions of the dead Complete annihilation. I am life in this wasteland He's troubled, the memories he can't evade Through the blood stained ground, all dead Counting the bodies he, can't believe his faith To the darkness in the sky he looked The empty void of space But his hope lives on Through the blackness now The stars will shine again It seems as they were calling, he can still hear their cries The silence it is deafening, his brothers, no more at his side Will he find the will against all odds, against the tide? Through aeons passing, through the stars, this hope of his cannot die

We left the stars We left this place Begin a new quest Hyperlapse through time and space From here to eternity and back again Start the engine, rev to the max Straddle up and sit back tight Here we go, don't overload We're just a bunch of rebels in space A new dawn, a new day An adventure awaits Got to suit up, fire up Drive out into space Exploring the galaxies, riding through the stars Exploring the unknown, I roam like a god This infinite, unending, void we call space I journey through cosmos, exploring the aeons. Is there really an end to space? Could we have gone beyond? Where do we find ourselves? Wormholes that call my name A shooting star falls as I fly by My destiny calling, this is my time I'm galaxy explorer, rebel in the sky It's not for fortune but the thrill I ride When darkness calls, I know it's not my name I heard it call, again and again; I know it's not my name All systems have failed.
