The Human Pestilence

Born. We start to breed Feed. On the earth we feast Destroy. Everything will perish Repeat. Everything will bleed Consume. All in our sight Deplete. All that we see Erode. It is our right Defeat. For our beliefs A parasite upon the earth Like a cancer. Spreading. Eroding Drain the world of all it has The human stain is unending Human beings are a disease Like a cancer on this planet Using up every natural resource Draining the earth of everything Once it is decayed and no more They move on to destroy another part of the earth Leaving nothing We've failed. This world We've failed this world And there is no turning back Fear. Regret. Catastrophe Nothing stops the clock The ticking hands of time It was our wasteful ways That created our demise The rivers run dry The earth is fragmenting A certain doom impending The burning embers To ashes all withered Your house of god has turned to dust. No prayers were answered
