Apocalyptic Dawn
The violence that begun was just the start Human beings fighting over different gods Raping the world for all that she holds Oblivious to the reckoning, justice behold The callous existence of man it was that led to the drought We saw the signs they were clear Our rivers running dry We saw the signs they were near Right be our very eyes The crops began to succumb Humans starved and left to die The great famine was inevitable Was it judgement from the sky? Man made chaos For personal gains Greed did destroy Humanity’s shame Why are the poor the first to die While rich live in the castles in the sky The death bell rings for all in the end The great famine will be your end The signs of religious fervour They began to fade When the bountiful lands lay bare For which god this price is paid? And so begins the barren wasteland Fresh from human decay To skin and bones they are reduced The price is flesh and you will pay The earth she does forbode There was no prophecy or great religious war We took and took and took till we could take no more Humans drained the world of everything it could give We took and took and took so we could live We worship an invisible god, destroy a visible nature We opened a pandora’s box one in which even hope was lost Eventual the world it will And we failed this world

Hatred, a seed that’s planted and nurtured and sowed Hatred, a feeling that the boy has only ever known Born to whispers Of the writings of old Lessons to learn For the line he must toe The words long lost Reimagined to uphold The boy he was taught Indoctrinated into the fold Suffer the masses Those who question the gods Dole out the punishment Of the gods and their wrath I am the speaker The voice of god Believe my message For I am the chosen one The scars of this world Infected and still bleeding The scars of this world No chance of ever healing Humanity’s failure Is a murderous feeling A tale that will unfold Of blindness and divinity Poison the mind Poison the soul Who said man could be the voice of god? Who said man could inflict god's wrath? We are lost and drowning in this world of blindness and divinity We sold our hate for saving our faith but it was all to late, but it was all to late. A shadow falls upon the earth This is the coming of our nemesis Slowly we watch as their armies descend We are prepared for battle We will fight until the end Till every soul has passed We’ll never let them take our lands We’ll fight them till our deaths Seek not the coming tranquility in days of darkness that fall The darkness is spreading fast and its black shroud engulfs us all And hell descended upon us Like a raging flame, spreading through the trees Destroying all life in its path, destruction and devastation I see Lands of kings and might of men will not reign supreme In this world that’s tormented by darkness, infested by demons The future has been sealed Up in arms we prepare for the final conflict, prepare for the coming storm They come from the darkness of the nether regions, seeking power and eternal domination War Cries, the silence dies Impeding doom, we shall deny Sentence all your destinies to the after life, in total oblivion We shall not fall in darkness, we shall stand and fight Rid the world from the harness of the evil demons Over lands and souls of ours, we shall deny them life King of darkness we wage war on you against your vile plague. We wont fall before you Succumb to your sword We'll wage this war The shadow of darkness has fallen before us This war is won Into the future we step forth With dreams we go
