3rd Stage of Decay

Chained to a rusty illusion Lost senses, no reality I am to take the motors off track The spirit back from the machinery Corrosion, slowly degrading Corruption, sees how I'm fading Destruction, what should I do? Been scored right through It's been long since that time Rusty taste, dried out mind Never are things going to be the same Loneliness becomes my friend Corrosion The texture of life turned to rust Mind sapped of struggling lust Try it out, have a free ride You will see how it is to have died Corrosion, slowly degrading Corruption, sees how I'm fading Destruction, what should I do? Been scored right through It's been long since that time Rusty taste, dried out mind Never are things going to be the same Loneliness becomes my friend To begin heading towards the end Corrosion is covering me All I see, as I'm observing the dead Rust - the outcome of humanity The philosophy of life is flawed Vanity of time; past, present, future Seem to mean nothing But a cyclic pattern to die Mechanical, over and done A rusted man-machine Haunted by passion to live on Be in constant motion Until the final termination Corrosion, slowly degrading Corruption, sees how I'm fading Destruction, what should I do? I see a long blood stained corridor in front of my eyes Walls all ripped and torn of lost souls trying to get out I want to run - escape this Leave all behind - this suffering Run out of here - alone to be I don't care they're all gone to me All I feel now is mental disarray Feeling claustrophobia while running in dismay I'm not here to stay; running away Hell awaits but not today Smashing against the wall while running through this nightmarish hall In this hell, tearing nails out while clawing the way up again I want to run - escape this Leave all behind - this suffering Run out of here - alone to be I don't care they're all gone to me All I feel now is mental disarray Feeling claustrophobia while running in dismay I'm not here to stay; running away Hell awaits but not today No matter what's ahead Always smashed into another dead end The air smells rusty and stale My body feels cold and pale Run I want to run - escape this Leave all behind - this suffering Run out of here - alone to be I don't care they're all gone to me All I feel now is mental disarray Feeling claustrophobia while running in dismay I'm not here to stay; running away Hell awaits but not today Feeling the pain once more and illness growth flowing in the air Screaming in horror, mind in fear, take me away from the hell that's here

With my eyes you look at me You will see what I see, day by day You hide as I look away I see you, you watch me, our eyes meet Observing your every move Alone here you and I, days go by No persona to despise No one here hears us cry anymore Thought, chaotic by nature Ordered when it's crumbling away The curtain is now opened to show The 3rd stage of decay The power it holds inside Filled with passion that has died Who are you to tell me What my eyes should see? I look at your eyes again In the shade, I see the dead ringer Laughing at my suffering, follow me You who cry at my pain The one who is taking control Living through your breath, having it all Feeling what you feel within The creation which I've lead to ruin Thought, chaotic by nature Ordered when it's crumbling away The curtain is now opened to show The 3rd stage of decay The power it holds inside Filled with passion that has died Who are you to tell me What my eyes should see? Beginnings and endings are intertwined Existence is cyclical, delays of time I want to return and reverse what went wrong I haven't seen it for so long Roaming through a monotonous road I see the light pass before my eyes So many doubts and memories to hold I'm so desperate to cut these ties Pay no mind to my demise Say it's right this time Do you fear this distress? Doesn't at all feel right like this I hunger for control Taking back my soul I live my life through you Theater of the absurd Individual moments that make up a life Like a losing player's final moves to demise The analogy should hold'a self-conscious cage Whatever it takes to get through one more stage Roaming through a monotonous road I see the light pass before my eyes Who can you trust but your shadow? The one always in sight by your side Pay no mind to my demise Say it's right this time Do you fear this distress? Where is god in suffering?
