Back to God's country they said It's better in the city I'm sure to find my future At least this is what they said My father worked the mines Darkness is the world below So hard is the labor How long will he endure Want to go back to God's country All of my life I need to stay Where it is the only place that I feel safe I must return to the world I know, I will go One day they cut the wages No more money to be made We were left to manage On half our weekly pay Oh man these times were tough On Black Friday it got rough They were in such a rage Like a lion in a cage Want to go back to God's country All of my life I need to stay Where it is the only place that I feel safe I must return to the world I know, I will go Disaster struck in winter Rocks fell down the shaft They searched for thirty hours Still there was no sign My father buried in the ground Inside this shaft they found Even though his time is done I know mine that just begun Want to go back to God's country All of my life I need to stay Where it is the only place that I feel safe I must return to the world I know, I will go Want to go back to God's country All of my life I need to stay Where it is the only place that I feel safe I must return to the world I know, I will go

All alone in the dead of night In my mind lives the thought of flight Dare remember where I have been Dare to think what could have been Life goes on but the end is near Strange voices that I seem to hear The future's doomed, it's the end tonight It's a mind game From the shadows, I heard a sound I looked there was no one around Dim light from the constant storm I turned to find the monster warm The future's doomed, it's the end tonight It's a mind game Life goes on but the end is near Always searching never to find Things that went well in your time Cheap thing, there is no rest Gather round, let's take another test Life goes on but the end is near Strange voices that I seem to hear The future's doomed, it's the end tonight It's a mind game Life goes on but the end is near Strange voices that I seem to hear The future's doomed, it's the end tonight It's a mind game

Under the stars, rode on a freight train Someone was aboard and asked me Where did I come from All I remember is that we headed for Spain To this day, that fights in my mind Just an image of a man and this bull Coming on so fast Can't believe for him it's just a job Blood and sand is everywhere Hard to believe his blood doesn't run cold Blood and sand needs his farewell kiss I don't know if he feels today Never been in a place like this I tell you we'll make it anyway Fast and steady arm, he turns to his side An evil glint on display The he reached a blade in his hand And the crowd explodes Blood and sand is everywhere Hard to believe his blood doesn't run cold Blood and sand needs his farewell kiss I don't know if he feels today Never been in a place like this I tell you we'll make it anyway The fighter's down, his last hooray He's left with pain and no one to blame Eyes staring up at the sky And his life fades away But they know it's only the game Just a matter of fate The play not so easy today But lay that you'll debate Blood and sand is everywhere Hard to believe his blood doesn't run cold Blood and sand needs his farewell kiss I don't know if he feels today Never been in a place like this I tell you we'll make it anyway

Always said he was going to be big someday But from the heart came nothing but greed Wheeling and dealing was the only way We've seen it before the shameless greed There is a price to pay It's too much for him to see Never afraid of what they might say Will the madman ever be free? Can he be free? Some kind of hero it the papers every week And that it was just a deal For him there was no need to worry Cause soon he is sure to flee There is a price to pay It's too much for him to see Never afraid of what they might say Will the madman ever be free? Can he be free? Looking back, did anybody really care? Lights were red, they shot straight away In his car there was blood everywhere Normal day, the end, well that came There is a price to pay It's too much for him to see Never afraid of what they might say Will the madman ever be free? Can he be free? Will he be free oh?

His story began late one night The man hurried down the steps He had a hovel for a room A place you'd rather never see It's been said you knew her name Pretty Barbie she was called I knew the girl that time before I bought her a bit much to drink Terror began in East End They prayed it won't happen again Polly, what a waste to think That man and you ended up in bed She was smart, but who could know That later on she would be dead Next was Annie and Audrey Terror found them in the night Another girl, another kill The world would never see them again Terror began in East End They prayed it won't happen again For months he slaughtered in a rage There was no doubt he was insane Left no traces far behind Many questions still remain Terror ended in East End Never caught, it wasn't fair Nobody saw him again This night ended like it began

I'm with a hundred troops on a ship for too many nights Never been to Bataan, but I know it's far away We should know more about the mission any day All they'll tell us we're in for quite a fight In the dark we could feel the enemy After an attack, it might be over We finally landed on the beach The hell of war is all we seek On the way to hell and back In my mind it's not so clear On the way to hell and back They say it's for the country I'm here It's nearly dawn, until we're on the attack Fighting hard, the open sea behind our backs Main ships wait to be unleashed and break free Then our new colony must begin in harmony In the dark we could feel the enemy After an attack, it might be over We finally landed on the beach The hell of war is all we seek Across the chart operation's running enemy Dive bombers in the sky, troops nearby Five thousand men are landing from the base A finer sight my memory will not erase And after weeks back on the street I went with visions from the field My friend, if you knew all I feel Then see my pain for real On the way to hell and back In my mind it's not so clear On the way to hell and back They say it's for the country I'm here

This track is instrumental.
Far the shore of the ocean Sailing ships far off course It seems that I have journeyed Past the very end of land Into waters surely the realm of the serpent Searching for shore, desolation the place that I fear As no man would dare To set his foot upon Land whose price to come Is mysteries and jagged peaks Of Colossa land of magic and evil And suddenly a shimmering force field appears From the land beyond beyond beyond beyond From the world past hope and fear I recite the incantation on the sand Polishing gleaming rock in my hand I did you genie to appear into the air I be you my god all alone you're my only friend From the land beyond beyond beyond beyond I'm on a journey into fear He hasn't broken through the force The magic land forever will be The genie's won, its last obstruction, its defeat So I won't fear the enemy When defeat is small, I shall become tall I can see the end of the land of mystery Into falling rocks, to rise you must fall I woke up with the treasure, the heart of Colossa From the land beyond beyond beyond beyond From the world past hope and fear From the land beyond I'm back where I belong I'm on a journey into fear
