The Dead Shall Rise Again
The wraiths are rising; Shapes that walk in the dead of night. The fear, exciting, As you sense on the edge of sight, A light that's burning, Lonely flame in eternal night. A sense of yearning, For a dimly remembered light. Such confusion reigns, never be the same, Memories remain, numb and distant pain. Doomed to walk the earth with the lost and cursed, Forever have to search. Pain and doubt surround you, So grey within without you, So near yet so alone, no hope, no sign. So walk upon the moonlight, But steel yourself for sunrise, And rage against the daylight till the time when you're, Touched by the hand of God, willing you on with a force, Makes you strong, brings you freedom. See universes that rise and then fall then The glory that shines like a beacon. Say a prayer for me as I will for you, got to be a Special prayer for me as there is for you. Pray for all of us. How long has it been? What does all this mean? A kind of waking dream, a lonely, silent scream So night after night, walk the halls in white, But rage with all your might Tomorrow and tomorrow, You ride the waves of sorrow, You run until you can't remember why. So walk upon the moonlight, But steel yourself for sunrise, And rage against the daylight till the time when you're, Taken by surprise, seeing with new eyes, Throw off the disguise, fly through stormy skies. The time is now at hand, you wait for his command, At last you understand. A thousand weeping angels, Are ringing in the changes. They'll call you home and give you wings to fly. So walk upon the moonlight, But Steel yourself for sunrise, And rage against the daylight till the time when you're,

You were lost out in the woods, When I charmed you, swept you to my land. Confused and dazed, so you were, So I offered you a demon's hand. Spirited from your cruel world, And I gave you all your heart's desire. How can you not love me still? Must I hold you in thrall all your life? I'll keep you near, Forever here, Fall hard, my tears, For I'll wear, Black lace and roses (I will wear) Black lace and roses. Enchanted by nights at the ball, We would dance the tainted years away. You're staring with soulless grey eyes in which I look for love but see dismay. What would you say if I told you that I Yearn to have you love me too? If I could take back the spell, And you see me the way I see you? I don't want to lead you on, But you don't give me a choice, Because I poison your mind, My love is somehow implied. I don't know why, I hurt inside. I wish I could turn back the days, I wish you would return my gaze. I ache inside, my love denied, And so goodbye. Leave me alone and just go, Walk away before I change my mind. And maybe deep down you'll be sad knowing You'll be leaving me behind? Broken, alone on the floor, I lie crushed and wither where I fall. With only my memories of you, To remind me I once loved at all. Such wasted years, Such lonely days, Fall hard, my tears, For I'll wear,

Stormy night, lantern high, Howling wind and evil sky tonight Lashing Rain, swirling mist, Dark and lonely, filled with guilt tonight A piercing sound and crawling fear, The devil's horse is drawing near Then slowly through the fog, a wraith, A huddled figure, from the grave tonight. Highwayman riding high, On a horse that rolls like thunder, Through the wild storm-battered night. If you can, remember why. Riding out so far away from home, And so alone. Under black and broken skies, Hear the wild inhuman cries tonight. An apparition straight from hell, Will cast a dark, satanic spell tonight. Soulless, haunted eyes redrawn, Painful memories buried long. On a never ending chase, Sweet oblivion awaits tonight. Picture me now and forever. Picture me now and remember me, So far and so long ago.

He journeyed 'cross the moor at night, Toward the light, a welcome sight. As if to put aside his fears, The rain became a well of tears. One night he journeyed not our way, One moonless night, it was so strange. A twenty year unbroken line, A memory from another time. I see your face, Running through the night. What dreams may come? What may you see? As I am now, so shall you be. What lives may pass, To set you free? As I am now, so shall you be. We searched the moor throughout the night, Until first light, there was no sign. Then in the distance came a cry, To terrify, try to deny. But in the mist he seemed so strange, Dead was the air, there was some change. Silent with not a word to say, Until, in time, faded away. I see your face, Running through the night. We found him lying on the earth, He'd lost his nerve, down to the curse. Lost in the fog, he;d missed his way, Amongst the gray, died where he lay. I see your face, Running through the night.

You never deserved to have the sky so grey No winter winds to take your breath away Like a winter star that never got to shine When all the while it should have been your time in the sun You made no sound, no laughter in your eyes Caress the moon and the star soon fades and dies Many time there was sadness in your face But ever know that you will have a place in the sun Sure as the rain fell on my face I never liked it, never liked it Sure as the cold rips through my bones I never liked it, never liked it anyway (anyway) A mystical night with snowflakes in your hair A memory of times with all your dreams to share How the rose would curl and die beneath your gaze Close your eyes and wish for better days in the sun Looking back on other times Feel your pain, I wish I could, be strong And take the blame Imagining a better life But when you cry, I only look away And stand aside Cos' what if ti's love? What if it's good? What if I feel unsteady? What if my mind feels like it's time? What if my thoughts are deadly? But what if it hurts? What if it's worse? What if I end up caring? What if it feels hopelessly real? What if I end up hurting?

A childhood fantasy, a mystery in the air The hunter seeing the unknown A figure, vague. out of the corner of her eye An evil she must face alone A shadow of a distant memory appears but High above the ground she'll face her darkest fears Cos' every night's a kind of Evil's fairground ride and Every night's another high speed roller coaster ride Twists and turns take you there Metal screeching, spark and flame Deadly falls without walls Riding on a hurricane A silent carnival with darkness all around And creaking where there should be none With trepidation in her heart she turns to see For she must face the one alone Sometimes feels it's like a never ending fight In the middle of a never ending night She's all, like, lipstick and thunder Fighting all that is evil Museums, Egyptian tombs and Desolate fairgrounds are lethal The faith of modern explorers The courage of the believers The hope of good-hearted children With wisdom beyond their years Old man through the Window of the Old house on the Hillside through the Graveyard where the Shadows kiss the night Ghostly as a Mirage through the Dim light of the Evening, see him Prowling through the Fair in the dead of night As ever, at the end the mystery is solved And the unmasking will be done The old man taken and she's on her way again Another mystery begun Sometimes feels it's like a never ending fight In the middle of a never ending night

Dusk is falling soft Across the moon-lit, velvet sand I'm barefoot on the beach In a silent, warm and star-struck land Hazy night, pastel shades On a night that I'll remember all my days I can feel the call across the centuries Distant thoughts but pure of heart See, a million lights are shining in the dark may this night be always in my memories Waters running deep Lost souls will find a way this night A painful, dream-filled sleep But battles won, an end in sight From a sea, hear it shriek Like a kraken waking from the ocean's deep In its majesty it parts the waves like air From the sea, see it rise Like a million wishes right before your eyes Stare in wonder, silent, offer up a prayer Across the sea, was a flam-red sunset And trouble waves 'neath a stained-glass sky And on the air, voices, ghostly, singing Though the meaning was lost on the advancing tide Tell me you're seeing what I'm seeing Tell me you're feeling what I'm feeling Give me a sign that I'm right That the sea holds its secrets so dark in the night Tell me you hear what I'm saying Tell me you see what I've awakened Kneel with me, pray now as I pray For the dead to defy and be free on this day Blessed are the wise Who fear wild storms way out at sea But the one who dies May yet be able to foresee On the waves, distant sighs Hear a million voices singing in the night Sounds of old echo from a troubled past Rapture comes by the light Of a million souls that glitter in the night See them rising, searching, finding peace at last On a beach at night alone See the rise of many souls As they are, so shall you be Destined for the heavens from the sea

You're so far away, there's nothing I can do Unless I follow you to the unknown Walking in your steps, cos it's the only way If it takes a million days I'll get closer You make just one mistake, don't get a second chance So without a second glance I'll come after Ride into the flames. with fear watching now Hear the screaming and the demon's laughter Riding into Hell There's nothing more to prove Riding into Hell For the one that I. One that I One that I one that I love I've searched through devils' lairs And dark, satanic halls The desolation calls, the distant crying The nightmare will return The ache of clinging doubt No longer think about the endless trying I've searched for years and now The smell of fire and death Satan's deadly breath is on my shoulder So fight the final war and spirit you away Return to better days this angel soldier Riding into Hell, riding into Hell Riding into Hell, riding into Hell

I last saw my love in the morning as he called to me We shall be one by the setting of the sun Our child will be as fair as a morning wrought in early Spring And her name shall be Desire and she shall overcome I picture her now as she might have been With gold in her hair, with her fair and soft skin And if I could cry then I would weep long For my love and the child I have lost And I will send the night To hold you in embrace And I will send the night To look upon your face And I'll watch over you Forever from this place And I will count the days before me I will return again, I will return again I will return in time In ghost stories So with a happy heart I ran home to tell the tale of how my love was true and marry we would so soon And if I were with child then oh how I would sing for joy How could I know I was running to my doom? Father, he said shame I had brought but How could it be shameful to reach for true love? With murder in mind, he came in the night And buried my body with the moonlight Winter winds will come with seasons, fading memories I will be here as a voice upon the breeze Think of me sometimes and imagine that which might have been A long lost hope, just a fragile dream So long ago, so many years Into the unknown with so many fears Make of your life whatever you will But never forget your true love lies here still
