A traveling hunter From a family of one Swimming to the surface At the setting of suns In the cold of the moment All the need is the same Feed the fire that warms the eyes and brain Keep strong your defenses Chasing dangerous prey Faster than the shooting shark With a bone for a blade Yet even when swallowed Could still tear you up good If that won't work a trace of mercury should We will not survive For I am trapped inside I have heard those waves before I must row this ghost to shore All the people of heaven And the powers that be Gather round the altar From the giants at sea And nobody's leaving Til the conscience is fed And still no plans to walk on land instead We will not see his face again He will not come this way again We will never be safe again Up from the sea Then never seen again
