We Are the Apocalypse

Servants of God and the cross and the lamb A gathering of fools One by one they will crawl through the mud To bow their heads to the Beast They gather in flocks and they pray on guilt and innocence While they are hiding their lies In temples and convents they're lurking, oh so prominent They reach beyond every aspect of life till they die We shall invoke the ancient, raging evil Comе let us feast upon the priest and drink their holy blood We will reclaim the throne and banish all the filthy scum And cut the tongues out from their mouths, and see the life escape their eyes They gather like crows when they think they've found the weakest ones While they are masking the truth They hide behind virtue and guilt while making promises If you see right through their veil, they hide a hive full of worms They think they are wolves but they fear what's hiding deep inside For we can see through their lies, and it is time to wage war We're calling forth the end, the Antichrist And let us feast like hungry beasts and share it with the dogs We will inflict the wounds that rids the world of their decay And push the spears right through their hearts to see their eyes devoid of light They're screaming like pigs as we strike the match to burn them down While they are joining their hands They hide behind shame and regret, but we'll show them none And when our vengeance is done, they will forever be gone

From the graves of the damned who has left this world And from the ashes of their thoughts We shall rise above with our blackened souls And steal the beat of every heart Like a silenced drum on a starless night That is what they will all become Under clouded skies runs a river deep Into the shadows of my mind Where I stand I can see the horizon aflame Black clouds are rising so high And the sun will not give any warmth to those Fearful and crying From a world full of hope there is nothing to see Mountains collapse into nameless graves And I rule over desolate landscapes so torn Their temples shall fall Into ruins forlorn all enwrapped in mist And through the echoes of the past I will lay my soul to eternal rest And from my coffin made of stone I will see decay, I will know the end And I am waiting for my time In the great abyss, in the precipice Is where the throne of hell is mine When the river of blood's running down your neck And when your wrists are open wide You will lay your soul in a pitch black hole That's just as dark and cold as mine You will smell the earth with your fading breath As you are drained and fade away To the other side of the veil of life To where the shadows now are mine From the depths of your grave you will finally feel How all your chains are breaking And the burdens of life are being lifted off So walk with the shadows For the world that you shunned is so hopelessly lost And now forever broken With a merciless heart they'll be left there to die They are doomed forever As they stand against the grains of time They surely know what is to come And from the shadowside we're watching Indifferent and detached From beyond we can hear all the cries and the screams Dark days are filled with murder And the moon shall rejoice in the sight of those Searching for shelter In a world full of pain there is nowhere to hide Nowhere to run to take cover And we rule over desolate landscapes so scorned The circle is broken

In solitude I am talking to ghosts And while the netherworld is being ripped open wide My human flesh is still keeping me Between these walls, and I am eager to die I am creating all these fantasies With all those filthy claws reaching out My dreams are dark and they are not my own I hear the devil call, he's crying out for blood His crimson eye is watching from the depths of the night I am forsaken and my sanity's abandoned me My hands are cold, I have a strength that's beyond my fading flesh I am becoming what I knew I would bе The beast of hate The killer's knife, the murderer of gods Inside my head I am feeding my thoughts And as the darkness falls I stand strong and proud My serpent skin is still cold and sleek I am sublime and I am ready to die The evil one is watching from the depths of the dark I am alone and driven by my murder fantasies My thoughts are vile, I have an urge to destroy my human mold I am becoming what I always have been A beast so great The stabbing knife, deliverer of death My eyes turn black, I have a drive that's too strong to comprehend I am the fallen one that conquers the night A beast to praise To fear and awe, I am the king of the damned In loneliness I am ruling the world And now my kingdom reaches so far and wide My flesh and bones were just keeping me Confined and chained, but I am finally dead My hands are strong, I have the brawn to destroy my mortal cage I am more vicious than I ever have been A beast from hell A ruthless force, the bearer of the flame My eyes are black, I have a lust that's too strong to hold against I shall bring slaughter and erase the light A beast to praise To fear and awe, the bringer of the end

Along the mountains lie, like mirrors in the dark Worlds of endless depths drowned in waves Under the light of the moon Across the raging sea the giant serpent crawl Through the night, far below the surface Like a raving echo from the past The great Leviathan rise Rise! For where he roam there is no peace, no stone will ever stand The end is nigh and day becomes a memory to slowly fade When he rise from the abyss, to slowly drag us down To tear apart what we have built and show us all the end of the world The great Leviathan! In from the west he strikes and sink his teeth into the hands And mind and soul and memories of fading hopes and futile dreams As he rise from the abyss, constricting every man To swallow whole our hearts and souls and bring us to our destiny The great Leviathan! "Below the fading moon and the sky, the winding of time and space desists And the light horizon is transformed, by the blackness of our hearts" And from the big black hole that holds the dark of every man The precipice, the dark abyss, the well we have been drinking from We arise anew to face a day devoid of light To moult our skin and rip to shreds the things that we are leaving behind The great Leviathan!
