Light in the forest fading In the hour when worlds intertwine To walk on the road less travelled To be caught in time Following astral shadows Chasing dreams of a world yet unknown Neath the gathering cloak of darkness Do not fear to loose your soul Is there a shimmer through the trees A flicker dancing on the fallen leaves And as the silence fills the eve We linger in the violet gleam Searching for a distant childhood dream And as the veil that clouds our sight Falls away, our dreams were right Oh we're on the edge of twilight Out of the silent woodland There's a melody faint in the glades Echoing in the stillness An ethereal strain Journeying on through twilight Journey on through the deepening haze With the gathering sense of wonder We await the end of day It appears that all is not what it seems What are these forms coming into being And as the silence fills the eve We linger in the violet gleam Searching for a distant childhood dream And as the veil that clouds our sight Falls away, our dreams were right Oh we're on the edge of twilight

Falling silently beneath vermilion canopies As far as the eye can see, a burning rain No words are spoken, the veil has now been broken And darkness has woken the mother moon Then o'er the night she will cast her silver light While flames leap higher look to the woods!
