November Red
Now the trains are getting late again Won’t sleep tonight All the people in the streets again They walk through my eyes In the veins the cancer grows again But fails to kill Will you call me a disease again My thoughts all in vain Caught in a dream now, We could have been Birds of passage in the dark they shine brighter In never-ending winter nights And while they were sleeping and not seeing a birds eye Leads the way To a better day than this and again We drowned in their grief If they ever had a word to say They would stay calm Revolutions of the angry ones They won’t do no harm.

Now the light of the morning rose Our shadows in the desert prevail Telling tales in their silent grace Of a reign that once stood, stood so tall We were bathing in the waterfalls Now you look down to the sand in your hands We were lovers in an endless dance You realize no ones coming home All we created once it all turned to dust All what we knew is gone has tumbled down and aged In the end we will finally stand In the lone and level sands We remain where all horizons end Here we stand and we’re already gone Now you have the time to read the lines Now you are trapped in a circle of time Realize there is no… no way out of here At the time you were counting the cost We were laughing at the things we lost In the shape of a distant past you realize There is no one left All we created once it all turned to dust All what we knew is gone has tumbled down and aged In the end we will finally stand In the lone and level sands We remain where all horizons end Turn your back to the glorious days Journey´s end you know that my friend Tell the world of passions well read Hands that mocked and hearts that fed

Standing aside the water she Waits for the coming of the shadows The fall of the night And she is cold inside The black frost’s made her blind Drifting in the winter’s cold Still beautifully broken A dreamy tear Slipping from her face A pale rose withering Wearing off Living a dream In a fragile scheme Over the distance Beautifully broken Under the bright shining ice A shade of a life Under a warm crescent moon Will there be your face Will there be silence Silence beautifully broken Reaching with her empty hands Still standing on the sideline She’s lost her breath And she has closed her eyes Sadness deep inside Falling from a distant past An ancient angel of the odd Is coming down And from her wounded soul The red snow’s melting down Bleeding off.

Woke up to a beautiful day Frightened by the things they say It’s you Woke up to a beautiful day Frightened that you’ve gone away It’s true And the phone starts ringing Got up out of my bed Frightened by things in my head It’s you Got up out of my bed Frightened by what I have said It’s true Right through my head Cuts my clock to wake me Driving me mad Another day awaits me Calling me Don’t make me cry For the pain will break me Don’t make me lie For the shame will wake me Every day End every single day It will haunt my dreams And every word I say Goes unheard it seems It’s fading to the past like the silence around Leaves me waiting Every day Woke up a day that bled Afraid of notes I never read It’s you Woke up a day that bled Afraid of notes I never said It’s true And the phone starts ringing Drop down here on the ground Now aware of what I’ve found It’s you Drop down here on the ground Now aware no one’s around It’s true Woke today To a day that bled away Woke today To a day that died away Woke up to a beautiful day Frightened by the things they say It’s you Woke up to a beautiful day Frightened that you’ve gone away It’s true And the phone starts ringing Lay down hands to my head silenced by the day that bled It’s you Lay down hands to my head Silenced by the words unsaid It’s true.

Covered in his memory Her yellowed portrait He sees her sleep in the melting sun Her face so wanly Her smile mischievous A lucent ghost sitting by his side Twisted in between sights His mind is tangled Obscure signs of a dying mind Afraid of hoping Afraid of leaving Blurry times Fading out of sight Now he’s standing on the shores of time A pilgrim gone astray From the ashes of uncertainty He turns his eyes away Crushing down are years he Feels the passing Susurrate from the endless depth He stills his soul as His heart is anxious Effigies in and out of time Away he turns And goes away Away from the scene The pictures Turning dark His weakning Spirit fades Old man’s dying Sheding tears alone He know neither Repentance nor regret He’s gone The shadows stand beside your face And I see the night Withers something beautiful Her smile’s a saving grace.

A quarter to four The train is leaving The hall inside falls silent again And the man’s left behind Alone again Another day that she’s just walked by Oh how he hopes that maybe one day She won’t buy the paper But ask for his name And he’s lost in her voice, lost in his vision She’s echoing inside of the man in his dream Without bleeding he can’t see Without bleeding he can’t know And in his mind And in his perception Fragile smile in her face Is coming down Will lead him away A constant commotion A daydream away Inside his dreams Her gentle smile Of kindness Warmth And deep sympathy Poor Allan so hurt So lonely that he Suspect he could never Love anymore.

As the light denies her plight Forlorn in fields of fallen trees she stands Shivering in her nightgown No one knows She’s crying in the night Pendant of her lover Worn in need of cover In fearful grasp her hands do fold As darkness turns into cold As sadness took her soul She did not believe That all the love That she once felt Was tearing a piece from her heart After all the hope she’s had After all that she dreamed was in vain She’s to bury her heart Before it tears her apart And wait for the beauteous morn of the day As she tried to calm her fright The haze around gave shelter to the girl Hiding her forever In praise of dreams She’s falling in the night Tender touch of petals As her need unsettles The shallows of her darker face And the shadows they embrace As her fears are cleansed in tears The bitterness inside gives way at last Wallowing in silence Years of love Just fleeting memories Woeful words of wonder As her mind does ponder In quiescence her eyes do close As she lays Down to the ground.
