Sinister, or Treading the Darker Paths

Out of the sight of swarm, moving hither and yon Out of these lands of tired dreams we run The woods speak of secrets old but not gone There we go, when the magic of herbs is done Higher! Higher! Above the woods and up the hill Deeper! Deeper! Into the night, through the air still Wilder! Wilder! We dissect reason, let it speak, the True Will 'Tis the ancient secret place where we meet To dance with shadows and babies to eat

Torches glow in the rhythm of the midnight land As she's being dragged into the dark by her hand Deep woods bear witness to great plans to nurture In the old praise of the shadows of nature The dark wine of a strange taste Provided by a life lived up in haste To be shared by those who deserve This vessel was meant to serve The purpose greater than life One more small absence in the big hive The blade glides like a fatherly caress No moan, no fear, the end put to distress

Doom! Doom! Doom! Doom is upon all the unbelievers Toxic fumes kill the deceivers And our children along It's the price of mercy we've waited for... So long! Rifles rattle with horror of rage For the Holy Word we must wage It's been written by God himself in ire Ah! Ah! Our God, oh He loves to speak with fire Sing! (sing!) We sing until our lips run dry Songs of glory that make our foes die Clap! (clap!) We clap our hands until they bleed For our long promised child of divine seed All hail that child with ruby eyes With golden skin and a scepter in its hand Under its sight all the unclean dies Words of mercy come from its foaming mouth to the land The great storm of love is upon us all It's the great storm of love, no one's saved from the fall

Strange ways have lead me to Strange places I've found myself in Strange passages I had to go through To come to places without rewards or sin Strange paths I've walked in search Strange spheres that shelter fire Where the sinister and bright beauty merge And a quest for answers becomes a futile desire Who calls me? From out the regions I cannot see Into the voids of terrible glee Is it you, my master, whatever your name is, Or is it just me, filled with divine bliss? In silence beyond the godhood is the purity I dissolve myself in nothingness in perfect unity

Bodies writhe in shameless joy When minds aspire to the stars Ripping through the holy decoy Nights of hunt, nights of bliss All days long we've longed for serpent's hiss Charms of deep night take us in by stealth Our fallen sisters sing the songs of blood and filth Madly possess those who refuse to hear My fallen sisters, your kisses can sear Drifting through the time that bends We go where the rainbow ends
