Countdown begins Hands start to shake A blast that's strong enough To move tectonic plates I know what's coming Hard to ignore Not just humanity The end of so much more None survive when atoms split When atoms split Upon the deck I feel the thrill I watch Polaris launch As the world goes still A pyrrhic victory Too high a price There's no going back Once you roll the dice Nuclear winters here Polaris drawing near Bright as a thousand suns Played with fire for far too long A global homicide Smoke and ash fill the sky How did it come to this? All I know is None escape when atoms split How did it come to this point? A world we can no longer fix Who unleashed such devastation? Can anyone survive when atoms mix?
