In this infernal forest Lies a cabin, lit by firelight Abandoned 'til occupied When the spirits arrive With blood, they cast their sorcery Ancient rites of immortality Deathless, we kneel before them Drinking blood from our slaughtered, blessed sacrifices Mors tua, vita mea Upon this shrine we gut Chanting to lords above Human offerings carved Immortalise this blood Grant us eternal life On this shrine of sacrifice The ritual has begun Immortalise this blood Summon the unholy ones "Bring us flesh and blood" Those who enter these woods Will welcome the dark light Their bodies are used for Our everlasting life Upon this shrine we gut Then hang the remains up Occult symbols etched in bark Summoning those above us Under the knife you're held To keep us immortal

Vistas unknown to humanity Perplex, what befalls my line of sight Absolute nature unseen By the organic mortal eye Traversing plains beyond our earth In search of eternal life This realm which I have yearned A horror far worse than realised Abhorrent abominations Roam this wretched realm A funereal ruination An everlasting hell Abominations so abhorrent, mutilated Disfigured creatures emerge, forcing me to join them Through many gateways I've been In search of divinity Never, did I expect to see Remnants of those before me Creatures completely mutated Their prior forms obscured Deathless, I may be Only to suffer for eternity Slave to the sight of my decay Falling deeper into madness From the shadows they emanate To bring a fate far worse than death

Creatures from beyond Pouring out of the flames Of human flesh they've spawned Crawling through the remains A product of the harvest What's left, they lay claim Any chance of our survival Lies in ending its reign Via the gateway of souls We must release them all Via the gateway of souls Let all flesh be restored Via the gateway of souls Shadows suspend control Via the gateway of souls And finally seal the door Walking morsels of flesh Enslaved by the shape All bound to its conscience Minds flayed and erased A dark enveloped sky Shrouds this world in shade The only fragments of light Seep in via the open gates As it dwells above what's left The only remnants of life Overrun by empty vessels Souls lost to the ticking of time Mindlessly hunting Until the extinction of humankind Our survival relies on releasing The souls trapped inside... The gateway of souls Enslaved in this cosmic cell We'll enter beyond this realm And set them free from their hell
