Here you lay Amidst the pallid, torn and grey Cast upon desolate waters, atrophied and forsaken Prophesized never to awaken Devoid of movement, of sight, and of speech A yearning to be heard, buried deep beneath Attached to the artificial, for reliance to breath A pale complexion, a ghostly veil, a failing fortress now besieged Desperately clinging on There is life still, in your sunken eyes On cruel tubes and wires dependent Drowning in a hollow sleep of strife A token of sentience I implore you to demonstrate Awaiting some acknowledgement Will there be a change in this terminal state? Encased within your failing shell You try, but cannot escape Entangled unto this sullen slumber The summoning of death's sublime embrace I stand here watching over you Struggling with dark thoughts I wish to abate Ephemeral decomposition Within this squalid, desolate place Under heavy sedation Yet feeling a pain that's so immense Externally at peace Internally in distress Unconsciousness - slipping Drifting farther away Feel the rot slowly setting in Life force to deteriorate Bereavement preemptive Acceptance of a fate Yet I am still waiting Helpless guardian before the gate You were ensnared You are enslaved Never to leave this place To morbidity a final embrace I am here, can you hear? Will you remember as you sleep? At your side, unto you I confide A sentinel for the fragile I'm trying now, but I cannot speak Hope is abandoning me Please wake now, from this melancholic dream I feel your presence all around me I am still here, why can't you hear? Remembrance of decease At your side, until the ending of your life A sentinel for the fragile

Encapsulated in timeless decay Withering in torpid bliss To perpetual sleep I am enslaved Slipping into a stagnant dream Screaming in silence To the subconscious I must now remain In paralysis I am all consumed This deathlike tranquil state In restless sleep I lie In my sleep I die In solemn embrace I depart, yet this empty vessel remains To rot in forsaken grace Yearning to be released No escape from this slumber of decease Trapped in suspended animation Entering the twilight darkness gates Blind, with this awareness of my fate Awaiting tribulation To drift away languorously The anticipation and sublime fears To be forever bereft of light Descending through the spheres Through these moonlit fields, I now fall The astral planes so far away In dormancy I am interred In somnus ego morior

Know that you are always in my heart Even though I must from here depart Unto those absented, I give a final wish That an understanding will come from what I did The entrapment Within a dark embrace The withering of my soul Confined unto this place A love, once blossoming, hath now deceased In staying, the hatred will only increase In remaining true, I am deluding myself and you That some reprieve will come, and we can start anew The bonds that were built Are now irrevocably destroyed In that your emotional Arsenal was employed The elation that is felt at the prospect of moving on Must be an omen for things that are to come To be free, to take flight, to leave the numbness behind Will be better than the despair and sadness that I currently find On pale reflection I know within my heart I cannot remain here To remove the broken part I cannot endure Cold stares and vacant eyes Ex comunicatus This love for you hath died Unto the departed I give a final wish That an understanding will come From what I did...

And all is grey Unto this emptiness I now remain This world is left barren to me My heart devoid of all feeling This life is now empty to me My soul yearns for decease I am broken, I am lost My existence denied, to forever suffer this loss Vanquished into the void are my dreams A life once complete lies veiled in screams Tattered in ruins, searching for release Beneath these enveloping blackened wings, my worth doth cease I cannot endure this increasing pain I try to visualize but the memories diminish and fade All I want is to see your soft face The touch of your delicate skin, the warmth of a loving embrace Reviewing surroundings Bleak and devoid of life Cursed to endlessly walk alone Not even your shadow as a guide Within these surroundings The grey is welcomed unto me I am wandering without purpose With all the simple things That I cherish and miss The laughter of innocents no longer resound Or the joy of a kiss For these simple things That hath been stolen from me The patter of footsteps that livened the walls Now silenced and empty I miss them all With all of heavy heart I cannot bear this endless winter That must be endured apart With the passing of time Grasping at fleeting memory A grieving that constantly aches All the time I am breathing These wounds Will never heal Unto this everlasting void I am forced in despair to kneel The solitude And desperation resound An everlasting burden Unto this sorrow I am drowned And all is grey Within this emptiness, I quietly pass away
