Dust of My Existence
Senseless, unmotivated Another day is slipped away Tomorrow I will hardly remember it tomorrow as well as today Time, deceitful, indifferent the illusion of life as an anesthesia Dust of my existence scattered on the floor On the streets floating above me, in big dark clouds I try to gather what is left by the wind I try to remember what it was before But before I can understand anything another day is slipped away senseless, unmotivated Why are you doing this to me?

On gray paths we move With resolute steps but without awareness On long ways we wander, in ordered lines Everyone close to each other, yet divided and unrelated I have seen many of them, and many of them have seen me Together in misery, procession of empty lives Who are they? Who am I? They stare in front of themselves, seeing nothing, nothing I proceed, I'm among them, but we never met, we never met And the march continues, away from hope to reach submission The reason.... how many of us are looking for it? In the silence of every day we lose ourselves Can a blind man realize he's travelling into nothingness? ... then in a matter of seconds, your faces disappear You disappear

The grey thing appears in the mirror I can understand nothing of his face Awake, but only in appearance Alive, but not in this world It came as an illness does. it came cunningly, little by little I felt I was no longer free, like a dead... like a dead weight inside me Dark little tides are born in my heart I walk at random, calm and empty, under this wasted sky The shadow at my feet lose itself in the darkness I'm plunging into key waters I no longer feel myself, existence is what I am afraid of There are no beginnings Days are tacked on to days without rhyme or reason an interminable, monotonous addiction My whole life is behind me I see it completely, I see its shape and the slow movements which have brought me this far Yet to find a sense Yet to find a meaning Stranger to myself

Some chains are not made of steel Some cells are not made of concrete Yet it is impossible to escape from them Because they are built inside us Tied to this place... What we call freedom is only a bigger prison Whose walls cannot be reached or seen We are forced to live the same day forever Again and again Our path is predefined Our view is constrained Our voice is silenced Our mind is sedated Our will... tied to this place Our dreams... crushed by this life

A cold white room in a place far from home I'm standing here, without much to say Within these walls many are suffering Somebody will leave, somebody will stay, somebody will never walk away You used to be the strongest, why did it happen? You used to be the strongest, I wasn't prepared I was supposed to be here to relieve your pain I brought only disillusion and even more suffering I was scared because your strength is my strength and your weakness is my weakness I feel cold, cold as the pale sky outside I feel paralyzed, still as the tall trees outside So many things I could say, so many things I should do But expressing my feelings has never been so hard like this time Why have I been so coward to get out of that room Without turning around first, without first coming close to you Only a cold goodbye before I walked away And then at every step the remorse screamed my name

The dust slowly falls while I walk the long corridors I can see it for a moment as it passes through the rays of light then slowly and silently it continues in the shadows It will hide my steps cover eyes and smiles stifle laughter and groans and everything will be smooth and blurred Everything is going to be forgotten The frames contains shadows Words are lost in silence The wind of time flows across every room shuffling the fragments of a past life bringing with it the lighter ones Pieces of my that will never come back Everything is going to be forgotten and a part of me is gone with them.
