There's not a way around it We're no longer one ahead As we fall into a world Of endless doubt and constant worry Losing all our senses As the sky is turning gray How can all these things we know Be deemed allowed and forced each everyday? Cannot we ever find what we see as the truth, When we leave all the dreams that we knew... Early on there came a time when I was facing A turning point in life So many years I tried to find it Thinking not of what is left to see in the future Take another chance to find That fading light shown in the distance Falling in place was I As I'm walking over edge A sea to join of wasted life Living on a broken ledge Deep inside a force not weak Ever longing for a way To break the streak that's holding me And leads myself astray Walking forever the life of the never It's all clear now to me, the answer has come (alive) One strong of heart, that'll never take follow again, never again, never again You've seen the fellow, what a mindless mass pretender Follow one and all alike Trying to feel the system's calling Assimilate with what is now, forgo all reason Take another place in line! Call me an unbeliever, maybe a skeptical I just can't understand what seems to be above us all Some people preach of glory, seeking a mystical Why won't they realize the dream they seek controls them all? Across each land and country, through nations big and small A force invisible, created by its own people They seek for good intentions, spreading what they think is right But really all they ever do is bring a neverending fight Why not make up our own minds? We all have nothing to hide.. On the dark and blue horizon Beyond the realms of land About the edge of time There showed a shape of wonder With sheering course of might And true revealing light Feeling it's force drive me closer I drew upon it's guide Rising up and through the ruins of man A vision so appeared before my eyes With blinding light..
