This is where we find ourselves Too far gone to save A shroud over shame, I'm Just doin' what you taught me This is where we find ourselves The fountain and the well I'll smile my way to my own hell Armed with what you left me There's no room for me In your small heaven But nothing could erase me Or what I am I am the weight, the worry I am the hurt, the hurry Without the hate to carry I could have been somebody I am the wait, the worry Without the hate to carry I could have been somebody I could have been somebody I am the weight, the worry I am the hurt, the hurry Without the hate to carry I could have been somebody I am the wait, the worry Without the hate to carry I could have been somebody I could have been somebody This is where we find ourselves, oh Crack in the wall, the doubt consumes while You let your righteous fury burn with hallowed hate You prey But there's no room for me In your small heaven Nothing could erase me Or who I am You cast your shadow Darkening everything south of the sun I won't follow your accord to cut me loose When it bound me here to watch you trade truth for a noose Screaming, "Down we fell" So give me hell Tell God I wish him well Bow down and taste the end It's a, a bitter pill, mind Did you plan to take the world with you And leave your guilt behind? "The soil is tainted" Your words, not mine Just scars and sabotage the legacy You left it all to me So go on, raise your hands, sing "Hallelujah" Song of the dead for those who survive The time of our lives So we smile Bow down and whisper words that you You can't make us forget You bow down, you bend your knee To the newborn hypocrites So bow down, give in New gods consuming Sweat and sickness is the legacy You left it all to me So go on, raise your hands and drink from the grail Just aching to drive that last coffin nail In the ways that we failed On we sail (With hallowed hate, you prey) We're all waiting, can you prey on peace? (Wordlessly, we welcome silence in her grace) I could bind my heart to anger And hold my breath for bliss that was promised me While the desperate hands of vengeance demand to deliver me It begins in me, how they cling to me Pleading

I just wish that you would answer Just once Are you plannin' to forget me, boy? A world without me is just not enough, not for me So pray that there's a heaven No, I meant to say I missed you And I'm sorry for everything I said to you and your mother Did I say I missed you yet? Well, they say there's not much more time Just call me when you get this Please, call me back, son I take it all back I'll break the monster you've become (A world without me's not enough) (A world without me's not enough) You brought us hell, I have no son (A world without me's not enough) (A world without me's not enough) Overwhelm and justify till someone remembers me I ran from death to drown on breath A world without me's not enough Overwhelmed and terrified he's waitin' to judge me I know I said there's hope above A world without me's not enough (Not enough) A world without me's not enough (Not enough) A world without me Oh-oh, ooh, ah-ooh-ooh (Not enough) Ooh, a world without me, oh (Not enough) A world without me's not enough One quiet voice left by sympathy stained When misery mends, we wash it away You cast your shadow Lingering only as long as the sun I won't follow Not a day you wouldn't gladly devour To let the rot make a roost in the refuse But down you fell So give me hell Tell God I wish him well

So let us drink to your health The gift of eating the world's wealth I would offer up to the numb And sign a wordless welcome To silence In her charcoal grace To silence In her charcoal grace A final lesson to teach The dream that none of us reached A reel that shook the fearless All helpless to bear witness To silence In her charcoal grace To silence In her charcoal grace Gone Thе scars too old for a coup Or this new fight for What I could find in myself To forgive you and grow Down to thе soil and bones Even with you gone now I promise that you'll have no such satisfaction I refuse to heal, I refuse to let go There'll be no peace for the prey you ravaged Finally choosing to embrace the damage I refuse to heal, I won't break from the chain Now the choice is made, stamp the fire out They're my shackles now, my righteousness I will burn this hateful world to silence In her charcoal grace To silence In her charcoal, her charcoal grace

Preach to me again Colour the wrong in me Into the earth, your creed surrendered More than you deserve Still as she slowly fell When by your demand, despair could house the holy Ruin will reveal As rot takes the breath in you You shriek at your shadow overhead as it leaves you Terrified to fade away But death and decay don't wait for the gods we create So hit me again, I'll spit out the blood of your saints Give mе hell, releasе the weight That quiet voice would let you take it back But you're only here in this reflection Go on, preach to me on love again I would bear this hate into the depths to see you choke on it Hell is you Hell is you I am the wait, the worry I am the hurt, the hurry Without the hate to carry I could have been somebody I am the wait, the worry Without the hate to carry I could have been somebody I could have been somebody I am the wait, the worry I am the hurt, the hurry Without the hate to carry I could have been somebody I am the wait, the worry Without the hate to carry I could have been somebody I could have been somebody Give me hell, give me the grace Give back the years you stole and beg me I can still see you here in my reflection Go on, preach to me on hell now I am the hate you gave me I am only what you made me Hell is you

So on I sail, those cliffs behind And all was quiet in my mind New worlds I thought that I could see And promise waiting there for me A quiet place to fill my cup No storm, no hate, no, not enough But all that land I thought I found Was only water for the drowned I woke to see the storm had eased But still, I could not make my peace When plenty came to empty me Of all the things I dreamed we'd be Son, you can't fight the waves as they break Your prayers for mercy, the water will take A promise thе world has been whispering to man "Never again" So nеver forget the ways we failed On we sail The water rose with roaring sound As we all raced for the low ground And all masks fell there on the shore And all I've ever been is war So on I sail, those cliffs behind Of many more, this war is mine A heavy weight, this empty cup I've carried all I've given up Son, you can't fight the waves as they break Your prayers for mercy, the water will take A promise the world has been whispering to man "Never again" So never forget the ways we failed On we sail

I made mountains, I shook the earth below Flood from the fountain, I carved my name in stone And I stood on the mountain with nothing in the way Feet firm on the mountain with no voice to speak And nothing left to say The heart beats in your breath So in breathing, be for a while Not yours but our breath Not yours but our breath It's not yours You breathe with me And speak in this broken and empty voice Of ours The world breathes you till dead you lie Won't you sing to me for a while? My voice is your voice Not yours but our voice So rejoice, ensnared with me Enchained in this stasis that left me mute And I've seen how soon we erase Illuminate and save us both And I, I swear, I'll do what it takes Illuminate the way back home and run into light But fixed there by defeat I was feet-firm when the ground gave way I am the silence you deserve You've no redemption coming Oh, look at you, smiling as you lie The gift you have for taking Are you still waiting for the colour from the hate You thought you could hide in you? So who could save me now? There was no salvation when the river ran dry Oh, so many times that I put out that fire But who could save me now? In the muse, a liar sedating me Show no mercy, I'll take a final bow But who could save me now? It was you that held the line You fought that fight And in the year we died, you found yourself alive But who could love me now that I am broken? That I am this? These shards of broken glass, the future in my hands Who could love me now? Hope left, but I made mountains Find the road, illuminate it I've seen the view as it wakes Illuminate and crave for hope again I swear, I'll do what it takes Illuminate, I'm running home on On the road to ruin I started walkin' with gauze still in my mouth And tried to keep from choking On the road to ruin, we let the ground give way With one voice to speak, and everything to save
