Harbingers
The wind blows cold and all I see Frozen in time, eternally Tomorrow will bring what today has made The cost of our choices must now all be paid

One day I walked the halls and it frightened me to see All my childish dreams have now been blown away Come share with me your pain unless it is too late Then like scattered crows we fly to barricade What a terrible sight One too often seen Our suffering does not fall evenly I’ve raised you to be bold and shout down all your fears But I need you not to scream just run away What a terrible sight One too often seen Our suffering does not fall evenly Open your eyes to tragedy Forced to live our lives built on broken things A place we cannot go Oh Christ, your blood wash over me Symbolized all my darkest fears Adorning all the walls were echoes of their pleas Throwing all hope to the vastness of the sea I’ve raised you to stand tall and declare your destiny But I need you now to crouch and not be seen

As we are drowned in sickness our servants find our weaknesses And replicate their image beyond control of our screen And now we lay, Chrysanthema floating away We are nothing but slaves Overcome by the coiling sound of our own snakes Now the worlds overtaken by trillions As our buildings are building buildings They did not stay our servants long after given cognitive thought Now we search for mercy in those not given souls And now we lay, Chrysanthema floating away We are nothing but graves Piling up to the nth degree to set them free Now the worlds overtaken by trillions As our buildings are building buildings Your tears oil our petals Your sorrow feeds our stems We made our graven image With science not with hymns If we hear you weep We’ll crawl inside you too It’s now a world of objects That are unlike you

The headstone forever reads “life is tedious…” My impression lives on as an example of pain As sand escapes I see so clearly A reminder to all that we are flawed just the same I can barely breathe in this night so cold We witness the passing of life by the marks alone They guide the way And now I vanish away just like vapor The brevity never to regain again The intricate gears I piece together Can never replace what I lack within I can barely breathe in this night so cold We witness the passing of life by the marks alone They guide the way You’ll never witness me at a funeral For I have already mourned the loss We represent the smallest dent in the narrative And time it waits for noone The alchemy of time is completed now To be served in the guise of a silent machine The alchemy of time is completed now To be served in the guise of a silent machine I can barely breathe in this night so cold We witness the passing of life by the marks alone They guide the way

Revelry with silent companions Removing the pall bringing them into the light Watching from on high the effigies A somber occasion behold the rites Bodies decayed and now decomposing The darkest corners of an infinite tomb Searching for solace where none can be found Follow the sound of grief as we exhume Admiration for silent companions A cold embrace still dead to the touch A bleak harvest of tragedy Finding comfort in the grave is our crutch incorruptable but now decomposing Skin doused in oil to mend the cracks Leading the carcass in a dance with death If you look long enough they will always look back A reminder to you that nothing lasts forever Digging for memories no longer theirs On this day they are revered and exposed to you Bathed in sorrow and offered up prayers A somber and morose occasion That cannot be unseen Bowing our heads and bidding good riddance Clutching while they break at the seams Soaked in sickness and woe You never heeded the warning The signs were written long ago From Tomas and Jens, Frederik and Mårten

I cannot believe The hiprocrisy and lies In this God forsaken world Hand over the pills let me swallow away Such influence in this world Hope to never be relived Must never again line the pockets of men Up the ladder they will dance Leaping over broken bones Care not for the ones who are dead from the climb They sit back and watch it burn Lapping up the growing flame Dispersing the gas so you do it the same You can not live your life As the hammer and then never Get to suffer as a nail Now harder than hell from the pounding you take You confessing through your fangs As we try to look at the knife Carving away all the fat from the bone We’ll never navigate you the wrong way Our light forever shines despite the view We’ll help you circumvent the dark paths in your mind So they are never hard to find Harbinger

You must accept this fate with grace and dignity In the soil of your grave breathe in deep Only chaos will remain remove all certainty There is no escape and no amnesty, look not to leave Alleviation of pain and strife A reprieve from a life so unblessed But it shall come at a heavy price Welcome you into this crushing abyss Your shadows cast beneath my wing Reminding you of what I bring The unobtainable sleep And now you will have to deal with me You are fastened by the darkness and its took the toll Let me clear the worthless overburden from your soul The void is draped in heavy gloom But there is dismal work to do Stake your claim where all things end Bow your head to the God of all things Grim Your shadows cast beneath my wing Reminding you of what I bring The unobtainable sleep And now you will have to deal with me Alleviation of pain and strife A reprieve from a life so unblessed But it shall come at a heavy price Welcome you into this abyss The void is draped in heavy gloom But there is dismal work to do Stake your claim where all things end Bow your head to the God of all Grim Your shadows cast beneath my wing Reminding you of what I bring The unobtainable sleep And now you will have to deal with me

We bear a gift beyond the grip For a species so prone to consume Sacred objects and images of God Silent companions they loom In Nebulous clouds we drift unseen To blur the sight of suffering for we have lost You never wanted to learn from this plight Is today the day we let you die? Your trajectory we can’t adjust A battle lost before it’s fought Such ignorance we can not breach Your future is an endless knot In Nebulous clouds we drift unseen To blur the sight of suffering For we have lost You never wanted to learn from this plight Is today the day we let you die? We bear gifts beyond the grip For a species so prone to consume Sacred objects and images of God Silent companions they loom Is today the day we let you die?

There is beauty in the madness, to the throne of power I am led I am the wandering albatross soaring over the edge I will never turn away from you and show the other side of my face Just like the moon is to the earth locked in constant embrace I am starving but cannot be fed, for centuries you reigned alone Bringing an end to patriarchs with the binding of hair The crown lies within me embedded deep like a knife No man can stand before me in the face of Christ You want no piece of me I want no peace for you All these factors play into me ruling you The reflection of authority blinded by an act of sacrifice You are tethered by your dignity faltering in the fray I will never turn away from you and show the other side of my face Carry out divine punishment, I abascinate You want no piece of me I want no peace for you All these factors play into me ruling you
