The ancient temples crumbling and their wisdoms long gone The fire of sacrifice, now tended by none For altars were constructed for the Gods that spoke of peace But the ancient oath was broken, the serpent was unleashed The amassing darkness loomed ahead and the leaders of their people bled Souls as black as the starless midnight sky, they cry At the pantheon of of forsaken Gods With the flames now raging skywards from the darkest pits beneath The forsaken fathers rising with the traitors at their feet The ancient tomes were opened And the wisdoms once more spoken But the final pages stated; their fate was sealed The sky now raining embers and the stars turned to dust Above, their sun was vanishing and the silver moon undone Above the storm they harken to the serpent Gods request "Curse you for your insolence, your world I will set ablaze!" In eternal pain they will confine amongst the flames their fathers name they cried Souls as black as the darkest midnight sky they die At the pantheon of forsaken Gods

On each side of the battlefield Stands an army on hold Waiting for the warhorns to blow Hatred in the eyes of ever man "The sign is given - The King's army, charge!" Burning arrows, in thousands they rain Rushing footmen dodge in vain As cavalry reaches the Pagan front Fear ignites in every knight... Crusaders and Northmen The final war One will conquer - One will fall The battle foreseen from the birth of time The battle for eternal Pagan might! The Northern legions are pulling their swords Feeling only hatred; no fear, no remorse Nor does the charging Bishop-hypocrite Lashing his steed, dressed in white The Pagan warlord and the king of light Staring into eachother's eyes Knowing that one of them will fall And only one side will win this war... Pikes are driven into holy flesh But the lead of the Northmen quickly fades The King has send so many men That they in hundreds outnumber them Steel against steel The swordsmen meet on the battlefield The Northmen are slain in this bloodbath As the Bishop unleashes all his wrath The Northmen are about to retreat As the sky lets out an epic shriek Bewinged warriors; from above they strike Slaughtering every man of light!
