It’s Because of the Birds and the Flowers
Life is a sacred thing No one wants to die Still we must be able to end it For some reason why Life can be like a prison Like a prison with open doors With all the pain & misery Just showing no remorse Some people tend to say Abortion is a crime But I don't think I can judge that Until that situation's mine Every unborn child Deserves the right of a human being Removing rips ones heart apart Doctors do have feelings too Who wants to give a child A life not worth to live? When drugs, sickness or poverty Is all that there's to give We as people on the outside Shouldn't encourage nor censure It's a mother's problem Death's the last and painful cure Life goes on & on People get older every day The declining is dreadful But that's the price we pay Life goes on & on Until our hearts stop to beat But when the beating's all that's left The stop is all we need Aged in old people's homes All driven & packed together A human junkyard full of misery Helpless, sick, but we know better How can we accuse the woman Whose future was yesterday? The sickness took her joy of life No one hears what she says How can we accuse the man Who lives like a machine? The accident wrecked his body Now rest is all that he esteems How can we accuse the doctor Who dares to kill the light? Of a dead though living person With no hope or recovery in sight

Disco condemns rock & rock condemns hip-hop Hip-hop condemns hardcore & hardcore condemns capitalism Capitalism condemns communism & communism condemns anarchism Anarchism condemns catholics & catholics condemn protestants There's something for everybody For everyone a kick I don't care if you're straight Or take that drugs & drink What is it with people? What makes us so important? To label every way or actions? Why can't you just be what you want? I don't say to you What you ought to do The mind is not the soul Different people, different goals I know what's the best for me All I need is to be free I can make it on my own What the hell is it to you if I'm straight & stoned? (x2) Do you want to skate? Negotiate or fight? Bang your head or dance? Or see some holy light? Let's reach out for each other Forget we're different Hate because of love Just doesn't make sense

I don't know why this is happening to us I have to cry, cry for our loss We always loved our son but now he's dead Committed suicide by a bullet through his head It seems he was unhappy though he never showed Now he's dead and there's still so much he owes I feel so guilty because I don't know What made you do this, I miss you so I hate myself, I hate tomorrow If I only know what caused you sorrow Our little boy, I can't believe he's dead Never more his footsteps when going to bed Why Son if you can hear me Why Why did you have to die (x2) Was it injustice or was it fate? So many questions but it's all too late My life won't be normal ever more After seeing you lying on the floor Tears in your eyes, blood all over your face I can't help thinking about your happy days How could you leave us, so sudden, so quick? We can't even talk again, it makes me sick Why Son if you can hear me Why Why did you have to die (x2) Only questions Quest for answers besieges my head The seek for memories drives me mad What's the reason for what you've done? Yesterday we still laughed & had some fun Our once happy family is now out of joint Your grief was secret, you sure make that point How'll be your birthday & Christmas like When there is no you & we all cry inside

Staring at the ceiling late at night I hold on to my teddybear so tight For she will never go away And she's the only person I can trust these days I always hear them shouting When I'm lying awake & and thinking Of the things I used to dream of When I was a baby boy, Eating, sleeping, Wetting all my diapers Now they treat me like I'm just another toy To shout about & do away with To push around from left to right To always be a victim of another fight Freedom of choice is the freedom to live Freedom to take & freedom to give Daddy's got it worse when Mummy's got it bad Now what shall it be... Mom or Dad? Will I every know the reason why They try to make me laugh & make me cry This situation's getting like a curse I know I have to choose between bad & worse I'm caught up in the middle Of a neverending stream of words Becoming like a meaningless drone Whispering, talking, screaming I haven't got a say in it I'm just a battlezone To fuss about & play around in To loot & murder, rape & kill in To never change the situation To always be the topic of their peace negotiations Freedom of choice is the freedom to live Freedom to take & freedom to give Daddy's got it worse when Mummy's got it bad Now what shall it be... Mom or Dad? Children by the million know the score The same as me behind locked doors They're trying to make some sense out of their life They know about it, love cuts like a butcher's knife And once the axe comes down I cannot mend what it has smashed to pieces Shattered all over the place Crying, waiting, hoping & praying They won't make me drop out of the human race And keep me locked here forever And never, never, never, never, Never forget that I don't have a choice Nevermore forget that I don't have no choice Freedom of choice is the freedom to live Freedom to take & freedom to give Daddy's got it worse when Mummy's got it bad Now what shall it be... Mom or Dad?

I want to think positive but it's so damn hard I want to think positive but it's so naïve I want to think positive but it's so unreal I want to think positive but it's so hypocrite No one really understood the sculptor As he faced up to his statue & said "Please let her live forever She's my best creation She can resist everything." But we haven't learned We don't learn And we won't learn No one really understood the sculptor As he faced down & cried "Please, let her die!" I did It's useless It's all so useless
