Requiem : Reveries of the Dying
Like spring flowers at the eve of winter's deep I turn the last page of my tale and wait for the sleep Upon my dying soul, I cry whole lake of tears Discarding hope and dreams and all my mortal fears Carried by the wind, the last echoes of yesterday. Into oblivion they all fade away. And dreams of tomorrow brings forth only more pain and sorrow. ...And into silence they fade away... Now as the sun is finally setting upon my life And darkness swallows the last rays of light I heartily welcome thee, O moonless night After all, I am blessed to die some day And upon that final dawn into silence all fades away... Blame, guilt and regret are in the end all the same They're just more shades of dark, designed to snuff out my flame Please, O silence, take me away! Yet I feel no quietude, just pain and remorse Upon this final hour, haunted by what I've lost Take me away! From now on 'till forever, in my grave I may decay ...And into silence the whole world will fade away... My whole lifetime was cursed with bleak undertone And all I ever loved, I loved all alone So I beg of thee, O silence, take me away Snuff out the light from my life and end my tragic passion play From silence I find my end

I'm clouded by these thoughts now, as the world is drowned in silence Time to reflect what brought me up to this How it began From hatred to silent bliss How to sum up a lifetime With hollow words and unmade dreams Was it ever what I hoped and dreamed Was there ever anything as it seemed At least I've played my part in this ever-changing theater of life Was my life worth living? I thank my life sincerely for these memories that I got I have no remorse on what I did only for what I did not Standing at the steps of this final end, I cannot escape these thoughts. All that was left undone. All that could have been. Those millions of tears I shed could have had their reasons changed. But in the end, would my life have been any better?

Do you remember me like I remember you? Do you only live in memories like I do? I'm alive, but crippled by this void I feel inside By your side, I dreamt to stand through the annals of time Save me from myself! I tried to forget, I tried to move on Convince myself that you were already gone Still after all is said and done In my heart I know you were the only one In rapture and bliss, I gave you my heart Yet I wasn't worthy of thy love Still I dream that one day you would be mine So finally my heart would beat next to thine I was the wolf and you were my moon. Always out of reach, exalted to shine beyond my doom. In rapture and bliss, I gave you my heart Yet I wasn't worthy of thy love Still I dream that one day you would be mine And that my heart would beat next to thine Yet one thing is true, as I now take my last breath I'll be waiting for you even in death You were the one You always were my only one

How can you mend a broken heart once its cinders have turned to dust? How can you enjoy life once thy soul is forever lost? If I die tonight, would I die as a broken man? Splintered and forlorn, not worth a damn Only time will tell Only time will heal How long one must bear the guilt Unable to smother what you feel Some of us were born to suffer For one must suffer to heal Only time will tell Only time will heal Time is the seal needed to patch up those scars Time is the only cure for the broken hearts But time will consume us all, bury us in the shallow grave For there's never enough time before it fades away And as the silence falls, we're already too late For love would have conquered all, love would have conquered hate To suffer is to feel, to feel is to be alive Through grief and pain we can finally embrace the brightest light Only time will tell Only time will heal Will my heart ever be whole again? Was my heart ever whole to begin with? Only time will tell. I won't give up on hope, for hope is all I have. Like a phoenix, I shall rise again and again from the ashes of my misery. But if I were to die today, would it end my suffering? For my torment seems to have no end, only new beginnings.

For so long, I've waited To see the sun go down I alone walk through the veil I alone, into the night I leave this all behind I leave my fears, my cries Alone I walk through the veil and plunge into the endless night This ends my journey, my sorrow, my song of life As I fade into silence And drown in the absence of light And the night creeps slowly And the dark welcomes me home When everything is lost, when everything is gone And nothing anymore feels like it did before If this night ain't my last and the morning will win How can I embrace tomorrow when everything feels like nothing I dreamt for so long but it never came to be I tried to enjoy life but its pleasures wasn't meant for me How long one must suffer? For I feel nothing but pain anymore Nothing but pain anymore

O stars, grant me my last wish Before the dark tide will kill the light of day Let my eyes to see the landscape once more Before my life force withers away The mountains, lakes, and rivers flowing forth Endless forests in all shades of green The raw beauty of the untamed north To die in your arms have always been my dream O how I wish to see you once more My beloved north To feel the force of thunderstorms To revel before the nature's endless forms To feel your rain splash against my skin To feel your heartbeat deep within O how I longed for your nightless summer nights How I dreamed to see your burning northern lights O how I wish to see you once more O how I yearn for thee, my beloved north Mother North, would thine enticing arms ever embrace me again? Would thy drop of dew invigorate my soul? The songs, the echoes, the whispers of wind, all scattered in the sea of stars Like my reveries, each a shining light, fading with my dying heart There's no place more beautiful than the nature of north There's no place I'd rather die than in the embrace of north Time to die
