This Rain Is the Weeping of Forefathers
Once these kingdoms had no kings or rulers There was devotion to the Gods and Nature Sadness and happiness lived together Embraced up the cruel and tender wilderness There were no songs like this I’m singing Nature had its silent yet beautiful melody Spirits harmonized each time with each single touch Along with an ever burning Darkness… always present We were wild, we were strong and pure Yet there were those unfortunate of dying The ones who never saw this light or darkness Whose birth was not meant to happen… so it didn’t Somehow our existence became corrupted and decrepit There’s a lot to blame and to think about… suffering! A lot to do: to create, to destroy, to maintain, To restore an Ancient spiritual equilibrium… The modern men do not know anymore about Gods All they care for are futile carnal dreams Money can buy their honour and their ideologies Only a diseased spirituality can provide this Our own race enslaved itself with its quest for reason People embrace cults to which they do not belong to… Cultures eliminate each others in the name of tolerance All that our forefathers built and believed in was buried. Why? This is not the same cold rain that fell here long ago What used to flow freely and naturally is now chained Everything is meant to disappear, yet, a new dawn will surface… On these shores and up those hills our steel shall rise to the sky Now I know why they cry and why they did it for so long It’s not because we’re destroying ourselves but also their creations Although our power is useless when we realize we’re nothing… Behold! The world healing itself, far from any “good” or “evil” conceptions The Gods have always been here for those who live for them… They will return one day for those who do not felt the Cosmic pulsing In Eternity they will embrace all those who were not useless zombies When at the blazing dawn… the tears will cease and we’ll recover Cosmic balance.
