Lost Forever
Could be lost forever what lies buried beneath the pillars of a modern world? Could be lost forever what made us noble and forced us to greatness? The way of the world unalterable Our fate, heading toward the deepest abyss? No tears to be shed for a dying organism taking it's last breath No tears to be shed for this world tumbling and fading into oblivion With joy in our hearts we celebrate it's decay The fading age of spiritual decline Like the leaves in spring and the rising summer sun From the smouldering remains of ashes decay A news sun will arise Our sun will arise!

Like a restless wanderer on his (long) way back home I seek for what seems lost since the ages have turned Like a beast of prey, A relic from elder times With a hard heart plant in my breast and a solitary mind (inside) I don't belong to this world A world that I left behind so long ago All your joys and your desires are the seed for my wrath Will the mourning of my soul Come to an end as I watch your world going up in flames? Then I'll find rest and I'll be home
