And Death Cometh upon Us
This track is instrumental.
„To your arms!“ In the early hours When the mist begins to clear On the horizon their ships appear But we were warned Now we grab our arms And gather silently As we mount our horses And line up behind the cliffs We hold our weapons tight When all of them have left their ships And still feel unrevealed Our horns sound for „Attack!“ We feel no fear inside If one of us should fall The others´ strength will grow We fight until we die Bloodmorning – the rage is on – bloodmorning Bloodmorning – the rage is on – bloodmorning Bloodmorning – the rage is on The screams from thousand lungs Fill the morning air When our brutal charge begins Like the winter´s flood We break against their lines We will leave no one alive Our spears they pierce the sky Cut through skulls and bones With a sinister sound Our swords sever their throats We´ll clean our blades at noon On a bloodred shore we will Celebrate our victory Bloodmorning – the rage is on – bloodmorning Bloodmorning – the rage is on – bloodmorning „You die!“

With empty hearts And blurred sights Most of us more crawl Than upright walk Always searching, always longing Only for profit not completion The disruptive venom Within our blood Words full of lies And serpents' eyes That hypnotize Adulating our weak minds With devotion we embrace The serpents amongst us Until all illusions Will vanish like smoke Set the rules on your own And you won't remain As easy prey Under control Words full of lies And serpents' eyes That hypnotize Adulating our weak minds

Behold! I had to stop and to behold myself What cut back on me? What took my breath? How can I leave these caving walls smothering me? Smothered – I am no more Smothered – I am no more Believe! I had to believe that mirrored pale face Staring back is alive And that I´m still strong inside Smothered – I am no more Smothered – I am no more I was told, I am wrong, but I am not! I see clear, I feel strong, I never will back down! Become! More confident and clear I have become Shattered the poisoning, let go false pride, Welcomed my true self and now I feel reborn Smothered – I am no more Smothered – I am no more

Insidiously your world has changed And you built your fences high Obscured within thy shadows Consumed by doubts and fear Go – through thy shadows Cut – through thy shadows See – through thy shadows Walk – through thy shadows You think the story´s over now But it is not! Defy! You´re feeling numb and helpless And so many want to see you fall But don´t drown yourself in sorrow Just rely on who you really are Now cross this threshold It´s time to cast those shadows aside Your confidence will be your shield Protecting you Your courage will be your sword To help you fight Your way out Through thy shadows Go – through thy shadows Cut – through thy shadows See – through thy shadows Walk – through thy shadows

I am the father of all your ancient gods Awakened from aeonic sleep I now rise again Your world I will devour As ageless, I´m reborn I am the storm I am the plague I am the chaos I am the creator I am the destroyer I am the unholy one Your armies will be crushed All your temples they will burn Only pain and laments remain Ancient prophecies fulfilled No chains can bind me No spell can ban me I claim this world my own My reign will last forever I despise your gods and your martyrs too For they kneel before my throne See, the new world order´s here I am the creator I am the destroyer I am the beginning I am the end

He can deceive, he can betray He can show you all you want to see He can bring eternal relief He can take away all suffering Your days have all turned into grey You feel alone Not praying for forgiveness But strength Perpetual sadness Always feeling your voice unheard You're caught in this constriction Of rules and harm Welcoming the final hour Of the final day When you finally have Abandoned this life You beg him to leave his ivory throne You beg him to take you into his arms Falling – into the arms of Morpheus Falling Falling – into the arms of Morpheus Falling

Long ago in a kingdom faraway Two sons of noble blood were born One of them should become king one day Already within the womb they were yearning to dominate The legend tells They came to life at the same time Each of them fighting to be first They took their mother´s life Impossible to define the firstborn one Their father tried to raise and educate them equally Ignoring their father´s love they grew up in pure discord The lion and the eagle so they were called The one, like a lion Strong, relentless, unrestrained The other, like an eagle Mighty, focussed, persevering More enemies than brothers More distinct than alike Their father kept them under control But when he suddenly died Their struggle for the crown became worse They gathered their armies outside the palace walls No time wasted with grief about their father´s death That epic battle lasted for two days and nights The lion and the eagle were the last to fight On the morning of day three The battle fell silent The brothers were found dead Laying side by side Riven in life United in death They left their kingdom to be doomed Their legacy to fade away

Devastated, with swollen eyes I stand Staring into the endless void Lost all sense of space and time This strike of fate, a mortal tragedy You were the one who always walked ahead You´re now gone and we all will follow What once has been, once will be again What once has been, once again will be There are no more tears to cry As they are all already drained away But at least I feel certain that Whenever, wherever we will meet again What once has been, once will be again What once has been, once again will be

After the war mankind degenerates A virus out of control decimates Like demons banned from the light They lie in wait In absolute darkness they dwell Ghastly and pale Harassed by hunger For human flesh In the dark we have to beware because At night they feast Tracing the warmth of our blood Within our veins They can sense our fear in the night Their hunt begins Hiding together Worst nightmares unfold Longingly awaiting the dawn, The day to come When will this horror end? Will we survive? A glimmer of hope remains though At night they feast
