Encountering a fleet of alien spacecraft Better shoot first one gunner decides Missiles strike out from Mercurion Aliens are taken by surprise All it takes to start a fire is a single match Hell in space is all around us as their fleet attacks Terrible storm of power Nuclear implosions Battle ships devoured Lazer-powered devastation Raging manifestation Of cold, indifferent iron Hypersonic conflagration Deep space encounter Launch the fighter ships! Imprisoned by living nightmares Chasing shadows, gripped by icy cold Visionless dreams, now we are free yet doomed Kept in stasis, far away from home Dark matter, reaching the wall Eternal darkness, to the nightside we fall Wilder dreams getting weirder still Event horizon is keeping us in Suddenly a presence appears A heat wave of searing flames Burning pain, inflicting so fierce Incineration, torturing the brain Spawned from the deepest void of space Creatures of unknown race Feed upon our intelligence Breaking down our last line of defense Their control starts faltering Restraints on our minds is altering We break loose and make our escape Into the darkest of landscapes

Still stuck in the fortress of void We began our desperate escape Taking a leap into nothingness Through a cosmic rift, away from this place Drifting through time and space, lost in the netherworld A gateway of the warp Last grip of reality, slowly fades away Does it have an end? Whispering shadows, slithering lies Traversing the portals, unlocking the mind Semi-hypnotic waking sleep Searching deep within the deep Discovering the horrors of the warp Swallowed by the vortex, the terror begins Transfixed by the wormhole, time is standing still Something clings on, to the hull of Mercurion It’s a living creature… yet mindless, filled with sin Terrible sounds are coming from the air lock Amorphous sludge, trying to break in Ineffable dread, this is the end Hunger and hatred, it’s feeding on our minds! The plasma fog clears at last, outside the porthole’s glass But the nightmares remain Somehow we made it through, gravity’s darkest depths The wormhole escape
