A lonely amalgamation Of otherworldly stone Drifts throughout the vacuum of space What it contains is unknown A habitable planet, it sees Hurling through the layers of the atmosphere It lands upon the earth A faint light Emerges From cracks in The surface (x2) Spores emerge from the hulking rock The wind carries them like a plague An abhorrent parasitic species They would nestle there, unhatched For millennia Consciousness awakes, it seems it’s conditions have finally been met Moisturе, warmth, and light Coaxes the seeds to life A vast nеtwork of tunnels Consumes the subterranean reaches of earth It’s spawn burrows towards the surface
