Maggots in Her Smile
I can feel her legs, I can feel her arms Reaching out for me, even in my dreams When she turned her head, symmetrical her face Half of it was rotten, withered with decay Sweet like rotten fruit, the aftertaste of bile Fermented, fuming breath (the maggots in her smile) Begging for a taste, in you I'll make a child A womb of noxious paste (the maggots in her smile) Tormented by visions, a nightmare every night Teeth are missing, maggots flow from overbite Her eyes so sweet but wrinkles betray what she has seen A past filled with predators who fiend her being (Beauty is in the sty of the beholder...) Her voice, like a broken organ in the night, making screams that only I can hear A voice, the voice that once had called to me, muffled by the maggots in her smile Dig up my grave- demonic nails Smiling beast, a species feasting on humans' emotions bleeding Parasitic psychic predator in shadows on the ceiling Waiting, watching In patience, stalking I can still smell fragrances and oils Mixed to mask the lingering of musk
