Legends of Ausphaal
In ancient times, the province of Ausphaal had remained unknown to men for centuries. Until one day a knight came to tread upon that virgin land. His name was Valdor. He settled on Raven mountains but hiws descendance was later to open the way to Larnoch valley and discover a magnificent place. As a tribute to their great ancestor, they called it Valdor's plain. A mighty dynasty was then to reign over those lands for several decades until Elrig, fifteenth king of that long line came to the throne. Blinded by his lust for power, he was to despoil his people and make them miserable. Rebelling against the tyrant,his son Hadrian was jailed but managed to elude his father's traps. The future of Ausphaal was henceforth in his hands.

Located in Valdor's plain is Elrigsberg the town in which The king's son, Elrig's son Hadrian lives He loves this town and his nation as well but these feelings are as strong as his hatred for his father How he likes to ride in Raven mountains, how he enjoys these vast green hills it feels as if he can breathe only here Valdor's plain is what he loves the most, Valdor's plain is sacked, everything's lost. How can he bear his father to destroy it? These pillages and raids must be the doing of some insane man, he has to stop him He found the courage to oppose the king But what for since he's been arrested? How he likes to ride in Raven mountains, how he enjoys these vast green hills it feels as if he can breathe only here Valdor's plain is what he loves the most, Valdor's plain is sacked, everything's lost. Is there a means to stop this folly? All the villages around have been invaded All of them destroyed - even Nasci'ah. Kill'em all until the last don't rest until the horn's blast Why fighting? Is this his destiny? (2x) Why shall he fight? Who can tell him if this has to be his destiny?

Alone in a dungeon Hadrian thinks about a way to stop the king Although he's lived happily in Elrigsberg he now has to leave No matter what his people think he's no traitor He must go to Valdoria to ask for some help

Under the moonlight Hadrian and his companions are riding away desperate, hopeless flight Elrig's men are on the way At crack of dawn they reach Larnoch valley and there they meet The king's men here to fight to death with the young knights They'll spare no-one heads are rolling down A whole squadron about to slay poor Hadrian They've all been killed too much blood's been spilled swords fly in the air Eight blades against one, this struggle isn't fair The prince is wounded but the battle's not yet ended Some mysterious horsemen are rushing towards them and crush Elrig's men and save Hadrian The sound of the hooves of their horses ripped the air like thunder, Although the weather was so fair The rising sun shining on their armours They looked more like gods than like mere soldiers Hadrian's arm is heavy with pain seized with dizziness, the young prince faints.

Sat on a galloping horse Hadrian wakes up slowly The pain has gone from his arm and around him Many soldiers wearing arms of Valdoria Dream or magic(4x) He's confused and lost and wonders where they are leading him His eye's caught by the long silver hair which is following from The helmet of the warrior riding in front of him Dream or magic(4x) Who's this knight whio led so brave a fight and enquires after him The voice is so light the truth comes to him so bright He's actually owes his life to a maiden - She's Aelia Daughter of Cid who leads the numerous clans living in powerful Valdoria As the city unfolds to Hadrian's eyes the young man feels as if he had reached paradise Valdoria's might shows in its architecture ancient and scuplted coulmns Send the Prince into raptured Communion between nature and Valdorians they lives in perfect harmony Confusion when Hadrian beholds so much beauty A new life offers itself to Hadrian-Welcome to Valdoria

Valdoria's warriors created a new way to fight So much horror, Hadrian's given the right To learn from them and protect the peace from Elrig who makes misery increase Graceful and quick movements though they fight they're so harmonius In every instant they share with nature they reached a perfect balance and have banned violence every Valdorian working so hard to maintain harmony and discard every evil deed and thirst for power The knights of the black falcon are taking action Elrig's army's near, there is no time for fear They're about to lay siege to the city of Valdoria, their enemies Elrig won't have mercy he'll reduce the city to ashes Valdoria's warriors accepted Hadrian in their clan Such an honour, he will do all he can to help those who saved his life and make justice issue from this strife This silver-haired girl looking in his eyes makes him feel paralyzed Feeling whole for the first time when with her His hand in hers makes her heart swell Intense silence which tells how strong their love is: their souls are bound together Cid will not consent to their union Hadrian must prove his worth fighting with their best knight The young prince defeated the brave warrior with luck and his abilities Cid is stunned by his power and accepts the love they feel for each other Will they ever have a chance to live happily?

People fleeing from five thousand men marching towards Valdoria, danger at the gates Cid nominates Hadrian heroic knight and orders him to lead the army to war He wants to use the tactic which worked for the first battle Archers waiting at the front The two armies face one another and wait first Valdorian arrows are thrown Their shields protect Elrig's men their ranks are still very strong sharp spears wounding Valdorians Though he launches the attack knights of the black falcon are stronger Hadrian's in danger Elrig eventually finds his son on the battlefield Will this duel be a patricide or an infanticide? Who will die? King's got the advantage his sword in the stomach of Hadrian and then behaeds him with his blade News of the death of Hadrian reaches the ears of Valdorians gone in retreat War's not over Aelia hears from it and sinks in a trance She makes up her mind and decides to avenge Her lover's death on the battlefield she takes the arms and the men stayed inside the city Against her father's advice-this desperate mission is a doomed one But Aella holds the legendary sword Clavaulkan and swears to the gods Elrig will be punished the warrior princess and her men kill enemies One by one they succeed where Hadrian failed Facing the evil king she's the first to draw her sword cuts both his arms off chops both his legs off butchered remains still live to execute him She drives her sword in right between Elrig's eyes regaining conciousness Aelia cries and screams rain and thunder echo her pain

What's the point of this war? So many corpses fouling the ground Aelia can't rejoice to see her nation rise again The world is desert since Hadrian's gone His life was taken her vengeance proved barren He's not here anymore her whole body is sore She will never be whole for him -she'll depart this life Thus she runs her sword right through her bosom righr through her soul going to heaven joining Hadrian A better world is rising Ausphaal entering an era of peace
