People without faces walk on the dusty street In a world without future, they rise up seed They don’t remember their names in their own life And I don’t know whether they are dead or alive Br: They don’t hear, they don’t see the world around They don’t know what’s evil and what is good And why they, instead of eyes, have a number on their faces Maybe it’s a silent, distant place. Rf: And maybe I am dreaming a nightmare in the night Tonight I feel like screaming and now I’m afraid. Whether sometime the day will come again Or I’ll remain in the dream? Once at midnight I woke up, drenched in a cold sweat I wondered whether I dreaming or beheld another life Then I looked in the mirror, I froze in silent dread There I saw a blanc face, it took my breath away Br: I shouted, I screamed without voice And then I realized: I don’t have a choice Because I am one of them, I can’t remember my name And there is nobody to blame Rf: And maybe I am dreaming nightmare in the night Tonight I feel like screaming and now I’m afraid.
