We are a part of a cursed generation Our hearts are empty along with our dignity Each day bracing for the worst Each day a new tragedy emerges How do we process these fearful times Where do we find our integrity to stand firm in raging seas Compelled to surrender unto hardship We stand divided once more Shaped by the voices of others Forsaken by our families Our trust betrayed Tell me there’s something more Tell me that we’re more than this Buried in isolation Why did I sever my ties?
