The Universe has long been yearning for our emptiness To add it to its own Cluster of antimatter Ever since we drove past the Keiper Belt It has dreamt of us Embracing humankind In its nothingness When we wrought our bodies into the shape of the moon Waiting in darkness for the sun's return All those fires burning beyond the blankets of space have carried our breaths to a far away place though our lips never spoke any words face to face all the planets aligned in the black, cold embrace The vacant sky we swim inside is nothing but antimatter So it’s obvious to the skies That we don’t matter Nothing matters in the cold, empty void Antimatter has the sound Of our muted voices I have wondered on how its touch against my skin, brought catastrophic destruction. And the universe that I was, was left in pieces, only to be visible through the vacant eyes of oblivion In the wake of times, the pieces of antimatter Were left inside me, inside us embedded into our skin, jagged scars of memories "We are the opposite poles of inexistence. And I long to know you."
